Jan. 4th, 2024 11:12 amTurns out if you're brave (and shameless) enough then you, too, can have the power to misuse the office printers to make small bound copies of your own fanfic -- specifically of a WIP you want to finish but can't open on the work computers, since your phone isn't allowed on the premises and two-factor identification won't let you log in to GDrive.
Today, tiny fic! Tomorrow, the WORLD!!!!!1!
(A statement which is even funnier, I think, when you consider the fic is for Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.)
That being said, it turns out bookbinding is the one activity where I seem to get worse with practice -- mostly because my inability to think in 3D is at this point internationally infamous (no like, literally. Most of my family is in other countries) and I CANNOT for the life of me comprehend how manual two-sided printing works -- so I hilariously have spent two entire days printing out increasingly mangled attempts at a booklet, up until 2 hours ago when I gave up and made a makeshift one with recycled copy paper and just stuck the fic on with clear tape and paperclips.
On the bright side, just looking at it fills me with extra delight, because not only have I succeeded in obtaining a tiny fic, but it also looks absolutely ridiculous. Gaze upon my works, ye kindergarteners, and despair!!!
